KANGO Inc. is first and foremost the result of a meeting between two men: Gary Sharpe,
Chairman of the Board and owner of Health Care Logistics (HCL), and Christophe Michaud,
President of the European group HMD, which owns KANGO Professional.
KANGO Professional is Europe’s leading manufacturer of ergonomic seating products
for industries and laboratories. It has long been the exclusive supplier to HCL, a major
distributor of “unique and hard to find” health care products available by mail order.
KANGO Inc. is the result of the successful and cordial partnership between these
two entrepreneurs. It was only natural that the company’s headquarters be based
at HCL.
The birth of this U.S.-based company underscores KANGO’s 25-year history
in Europe, where it contributes to improving working conditions and is recognized
in its market segment for its know-how and expertise. KANGO seats are already
available in the U.S., but this new structure will give a new boost to the conquest
of the American market.
This association of skills enables us to offer a broader, improved and more attractive range
of products able to meet the ever-changing expectations of the professional community.
